This is our first coffee from the East African country of Burundi, just south of Rwanda. We love exploring the treasure trove that is East African coffee regions, and Bourbon coffee from this neck of the woods tends to be "sweet with bright acidity, big body, floral, citrus and spiced with wild notes." We find that this particular coffee definitely lives up to this description, with the full mouthfeel and bright acidic sweetness creating a candy-like delight. Wow. Coffee that’s like candy? Mind.
